Luis Cabral was born in São Miguel, Azores and immigrated to the Boston Area at the age of nine.  He played high school soccer at Somerville High School and college soccer at Tufts.  He has lived in Woburn for the past 11 years with his wife and three children.

Luis has coached at the town, club, high school and college levels in the Boston area for over 10 years.  His youth teams have consistently been considered amongst the state's strongest teams.

  • 2008 U15 team Region 1 finalist and National Finalist
  • 2008 U15 team finished the year ranked #2 in the nation (USA Rankings)
  • 2011 - 27 former players were all-stars for their high school league
  • 2011-2012 - 4 former players have been named to the Globe All-Scholastic team
  • Dozens of former players have made the ODP team
  • Dozens of former players are currently playing in D1, D2 and D3 college teams.
  • 2 former players now play professionally in Spain and Brazil
