> Saturday, May 11: Our BU16 Blue team led by Coach Daestrela compete against Valeo FC in their 4th State Cup match.  Kick-off at 2:45pm at Citizens Bank Field #4, 512 Old Union Turnpike, Lancaster, MA.

Our Teams' Many Successes in State Cup Competitions!

> May 1: Our B16 Blue team played their 3rd State Cup match today against MPS Crusaders.  They scored early and kept up the pace to finish with a 1-0 win.

> April 30: Congratulations Coaches Figueiredo and Gomes and the G13 Blue team for becoming President's Cup State Champions!!!  The beautiful game winning goal was scored by Lexia Cicone on a nice combination assist from Seliana Carvalho and Alexa Zayas.  On to the region 1 tournament!

> April 27: Boys U16 Blue won their second President cup game 5-2 in overtime against Crusaders United to clinch a spot in the President Cup Regional tournament.  Congratulations Coach Daestrela and boys for becoming President's Cup State Champs!!!

> April 23: Chase's G15 team win their second round of State Cup!  The girls played a grueling two and a half hour game against the Stars of MA Div 1 team.  The score was level after 2 over times, so the game progressed to PK's where the Falcons prevailed with excellent placement by all chosen players.

> April 20: Our B16 Blue team traveled to Sutton for their second state cup game against Fuller Hamlets which is currently in first place in Division 1. The game went into overtime after a 1-1 draw. Finally at 8:45 it was won by MC Falcons after a series of 8 penalty kicks and a final goal by Owen Lynch.

> April 14: Coaches Figueiredo and Gomes' G13 Blue team win their first President's Cup match against North Shore United, 3-0.

> April 13: Our B16 Blue team led by Coach Daestrela beat a division 1 team Hammer FC 2-1 with a goal in the last five minutes by Alex Zelaya for their first President Cup win.

> April 9: Congratulations to our G18's team state cup opener victory against FC United!  They had an impressive shut-out and finished with a decisive 6-0.  Coach Gomes is proud.  Our B18 team was their to cheer the girls on - thanks, guys!

> April 9: Congratulations to the B16 green team coached by Raphael Guimaraes on their state cup win tonight!  This is their first state cup match, and only their second match together as a team.  They won in overtime, 3-2 against Abby Villa.

> April 7: Congratulations to Coach Chase's G15 and their state cup victory tonight!  Despite being down 1 at the 1/2 our G15's discussed what needed to be changed & executed it resulting in four unanswered goals. They finished the game managing it with possession in safe areas of the field.  4-1 over Explosion Div 2 team.

> April 5: Congratulations Coach Frenchy and his B16 blue team for their first state cup win tonight!  They beat MPS 2-1.

> October 20: Our G13 Blue team wins their second round of State Cup against MPS Lady Crusaders, dominating with a 6-0 finish.  Coaches Figueiredo and Gomes thought the girls played very well in this game.

> September 29: Our G13 Blue team wins their first state cup match against Galway Rovers.  These two teams have been friendly competitors over the past couple of years.  The game was won in overtime with a single goal scored by MC Falcons.

MC Falcons/New England Rush competes in Rush Cup on the Coast in Virginia

Five teams travelled to Virginia Beach to compete in the Rush Cup: B11 Gomes, G13 Figueiredo/Gomes, G13 Cabral, G14 Figueiredo, and G18 Gomes.  The teams all competed with teams from around Region 1 and our club represented very well. Our B11 team finished 2nd in the Gold flight.  Our G13 Blue team was a semi-finalist.  Our G13 Green team fiinished 3rd in the Silver flight.  Our G18 team finished 3rd overall in their age group.

MC Falcons G14 Team were Champions, finishing 1st overall in their age group!!!  Congratulations to all our participating teams!
